Prompts: Aurora Leigh (1856)
Norton Critical
edited by Margaret Reynolds

“Where we disavow
Being keeper to our brother we're his Cain" (4.467-68).
Aurora Leigh (1856)

Responses to Path 2 prompts should deliver a structured, narrow argument in 400-500 words, one you publish on Blackboard by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday. Arguments that evince creativity and organization, that support their claims with detailed evidence (page citations help here), and which show signs of careful revision will receive a full three points. As concerns these essays, there is no such thing as an incorrect argument--only an insufficiently supported one.

In addition to demonstrating strong familiarity with your primary text, entries should also demonstrate awareness of:

Week Two:
Aurora Leigh, Books 1-3

Week Three:
Aurora Leigh, Books 4-6

Week Four:
Aurora Leigh, Books 7-9
